Our Deaf Services team can be the first point of contact for Deaf individuals and families looking for answers, information and direction. If you are looking for support and help with basic living, meeting your daily needs, job search skills or equipment to make life easier at home or work, our staff can provide advice and recommendations to help you navigate around the issues and obstacles you face. We can point you to internal resources (such as interpreting or equipment services) or to external community agencies and partners.
Our Hearing Services team offers information about tinnitus, how to navigate the hearing test process and tips for buying hearing aids so that customers are not so confused when they are taking those first steps through the challenges of hearing loss. We also provide hearing accommodations for hard of hearing individuals, such as personal amplifying equipment.
Our organization also works hard to educate businesses, government, organizations and groups to increase awareness and understanding of the needs and issues of the Deaf.
